I did not like this mod at all.
The biggest problem, is that it only produced a good amount of vapor when the battery was fully charged. Once it was down 25% (according to the display on the unit), vapor production dropped like the battery was dead. I tested this by taking out the battery at this point in putting it in an older mod and it worked just fine.
Second, the way the battery compartment is opened is a pain. It is a screw in spring, and closing it while the spring pushes back on you is a chore. It isn’t a screw in you do with your fingers… you need a screwdriver or maybe a coin to do it.
Finally, the unit times out and goes into sleep mode. This wouldn’t be a problem, but the time out time is way too short. I would be on break from work vaping, and go to take another hit and nothing happens because it was going through the start up initialization. So unless you are vaping every 15 seconds (it seemed… I didn’t check the exact timeout period), you will go to take a hit and nothing happens.
The positive.. and the reason I purchased it initially, is what the description here says. It has a great feel in the hands. A lot of box mods are curved on only one side, so only part of your hand is cushioned. But this one feels great! I’m just disappointed it was a poor performer.
A clarification: when I said the battery was down 25%, I mean that as the battery still had 75% of its charge remaining.
