When I first saw the SMY MR.Q mini mod I was a little surprised. You just don’t see many devices using replaceable 18350 batteries and that’s what SMY has gone with for the MR.Q. It certainly makes for a compact, stealthy device albeit at the cost of battery capacity. I would consider this a perfect device to grab on your way out the door to run errands. It has all the functions of larger devices, such as temperature control, 0.1ohm minimum resistance, and firmware upgradeability.
